Experienced Metabolomics Expert and People Manager to lead the Metabolomics

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated to lead, manage and advance the Metabolomics Platform at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research (CBMR), University of Copenhagen, starting on January 1, 2025, or after agreement.

REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EVALUATION CRITERIA

We expect you to have:

• a PhD degree or equivalent in a biochemistry or (analytical) chemistry related discipline.
• proven track record of leadership skills, either as a project or people manager, with a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
• in-depth knowledge and insights into metabolomics analysis (e.g., analytical chemistry, mass spectrometry-based analyses, metabolic flux analysis, statistics, as well as data management and presentation)
• a proven track record of connecting the dots across several stakeholders where expectations are high, and success requires exceptional teamwork and a strong drive.
• excellent interpersonal, negotiating, and business-developing skills, with an ability to nurture internal and external partnerships across different research centers and collaborators.
• excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
