NZ Wushu Academy Ltd (NZ Wushu) is a prestigious Wushu training institute based in Central Auckland. It offers indoor Sanda Kickboxing Taichi and Wushu Classes integrated with theories and practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Knowledge of Wushu as a sport and its history
- Proven 3 years of experience in office management or related field.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and reconcile accruals.
- Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with other staff members and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced and mature office manager who can take ownership of all the responsibilities with minimal time. The successful candidate will handle various tasks related to accounts, finances, funding, office management, equipment, vehicle management, and event coordination.
This will be a full-time permanent role. The usual hours of work are 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday and we offer $30-35 per hour plus all the statutory entitlements.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Manage payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to staff
Handle onboarding process for new staff
Liaise with external accounting firm for tax compliances, and reporting
Oversee invoicing and payment processes
Maintain asset register.
Conduct end of month reconciliation.
Submit funding applications
Provide reporting for grants.
Make sure spendings are in line with programme grants.
Manage office consumables, maintain the EFTPOS machine and printer
Oversee merchandise and uniforms
Liaise with coaches and other staff to ensure smooth operations
Address general workplace health and safety requirements.
Manage the purchase, maintenance, and disposal of equipment.
Maintain an updated stock list.
