The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) team is seeking an Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join the 777 Production Integration team in Everett, Washington.
The 777 Production Integration Team is looking for an Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Analyst (Level 3 or Level 4) who will collaborate cross-functionally to identify, investigate, communicate, and integrate Engineering Change into the 777/777X production system.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
- 5+ years using Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- 5+ years in Data Analysis.
- 5+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization.
- 5 years of experience in the Process Management, LEAN and/or BPS experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years working with the Boeing Problem Solving Model.
- 3+ years in a formal or informal leadership position that required developing, coaching and training team members.
- 5+ years working in a production environment.
- Basic understanding of the One Boeing Production System (BPS) standards.
- Experience and proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and templates.
- Experience and proficiency with engineering tools (CDS, ECAS, IBEX, PDM, REDARS, Etc)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Typical Education/Experience:
Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.)
Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).
SUMMARY PAY RANGE:
Experienced (Level 3): $90,000 - $100,000
Senior (Level 4): $106,200 - $118,400
Responsibilities:
- Assures that solutions meet the production system requirements & objectives for designated program/product.
- Brings the manufacturing perspective when shop floor employees are not available to participate in problem solving.
- Educates team members on manufacturing processes, standard practices, and basic shop rhythms.
- Shares experiences that are relevant to the teams understanding of how solutions impact production.
- Helps bridge the FSCC to the mechanic by building relationships with shop personnel.
- Influences and guides to assure solutions are adopted by manufacturing, this includes communicating and partnering with manufacturing leaders.
- Leads by example to foster a culture of cooperation between manufacturing and support organizations.
- Champions safety and compliance requirements
- Uses product definition databases to assess producibility of the airplane.
- Advocates and uses the mechanics’ surgeons chart.
- Assists the team with trials and testing of countermeasures. Use the mock-up shops as appropriate and when available.
- Collaborates with other FSCC Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to share ideas and ensure that solutions do not negatively impact downstream shops.
- Supports the iterative problem-solving process by working closely with shop mechanics to discuss the team’s goals and objectives.
- Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System.
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
- Analyzes and interprets data.
- Provides feedback on assessment results and finds opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.
- Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.
- Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
- Participates in and becomes an expert in the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM).
- Works under minimal direction.
