Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our Phantom Works team in Berkeley, Missouri.
Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level 4:
- Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.
- Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
- Conducts and guides supplier assessments.
- Develops current and projected work statement.
- Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
- Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Develops and executes work movement plans.
Position Responsibilities – Senior Level 5:
- Provides technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs.
- Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs.
- Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
- Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions.
- Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies.
- Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects.
- Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Manages work movement plans.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Technical Bachelor’s, Master’s or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
- More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
- More than 5 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity.
- More than 5 years of experience working across multiple programs and locations.
- More than 5 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
- Experienced Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Senior Level 5: More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Experienced Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.)
Senior Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years’ related work experience, Master+12 years’ related work experience, 18 years’ related work experience, etc.)
