• Proven experience with embedded software and image analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software development, with over three years of practical experience.
• Programming skills in at least one object-oriented language. Among other, we use C#, modern C++, and Python.
• You have a master’s degree or Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, physics, or another relevant field.
• Mindset and ability to do early-stage innovation coupled with a zeal for questioning existing norms.
• Advanced cross-functional collaboration abilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM

Join our Discovery team at 3Shape in Copenhagen as a scanner software developer! In this role, you’ll be part of our core front end innovation. As a group, we look at future products that combine scanning hardware and subsequent data processing. We engage with the wider R&D and Product Management organizations to create technology assets and concepts for new products that can redefine industry standards. We have very high ambitions in terms of customer value as well as business potential. You will play an important role in working close to the hardware and sensor data, performing tasks such as image analysis. Other team members include experts in user research, camera systems, mathematical modelling, and much more. Your day-to-day work involves not just coding, but actively shaping how our solutions evolve. You will also stay abreast of technology trends, including adoption of AI. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop early product ideas and technology assets together with the Discovery team and relevant stakeholders from the wider R&D and Product Management organization.
• Engage with the wider organization to make sure ideas and knowledge are included in our work.
• Bring your technical perspective into discussions on how we create user value and business opportunities.
• Take part in developing how we work with early innovation.
• Stay up to date on your professional field and how that maps into trends in the dental industry.
