QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in Java and/or C++
- Experience with modern development tools and practices
- Experience in designing, implementing and enhancing software and testable systems
- Strong in problem solving skills
Required education/degree:
- A degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.
Personal profile:
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Structured approach while embracing agile practices
- Drive for solving complex technical challenges
- Proficient in English, with a preference for Danish
Responsibilities:
TEAM AND ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (3+ years) to join our Radar domain team. Working as part of the Radar domain team, your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and refining the software, focusing on best practices, including early testing and quality assurance. The role involves working with various technologies including Java, C++, C, and Python, supported by tools like Docker, Bazel, Jenkins, and Linux.
Our department consists of over 20 developers, along with architects, test managers, and project managers, all working in an agile setup. We have a friendly and supportive environment, where collaboration and knowledge-sharing are important. Our team members come from varied technical backgrounds and experience levels, offering rich opportunities for technical innovation and complex problem-solving.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement software solutions following our architectural standards and best practices
- Participate in technical discussions with architects and the development team to shape implementation approaches
- Contribute to code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems to improve performance and reliability
- Support knowledge sharing within the team
