Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive repair. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires proficiency with both power and hand tools, as well as a solid understanding of mechanical systems.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools effectively and safely.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Qualified with an industry recognised qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, and tyre rotations.
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service quality and customer satisfaction.
