ABOUT US

MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group Logistics is part of the central supply chain function. The division is essentially made up of the pillars of Transport Management, Warehouse Management, Warehouse Automation & Robotics and the Logistics Control Tower. The focus is on shaping the future of MediaMarktSaturn’s logistics and thus supporting the operational logistics units in the national companies conceptually/strategically in the field of logistics with suitable solutions or process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Conception of new and further development of existing warehouse structures in Europe
  • Definition of standards for warehouse handling with regard to processes, system requirements (functional), warehouse equipment and control
  • Evaluation of complex data volumes to derive fact-based improvement measures
  • Preparation of specifications for warehouse service tenders Professional selection of suitable storage service providers
  • Management of projects in the warehouse environment (e.g. warehouse moves, layout overplanning, CIP projects)
  • Creating, conducting and leading workshops
  • Sparring partner (m/f/d) for operational warehouse logistics departments, especially in matters of service provider management and process improvement
