We are looking for Export Processor who will handle the daily running operation of the Export function for Solenis UK sites to Europe and rest of the world and provide support of other EMEA export functions as required. Optimise export operational efficiency for international movements of goods between UK and Solenis Intra-company global destinations as well as handling the export of post Brexit UK movements including 3rd party direct supplies, as determined by the incoterm used.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Issue and provide all documents, certificates, and declarations to the companies 4PL, Broker and internal stakeholders to successfully conduct export and import movements through associated Customs Clearances
  • This will include, but is not limited to, Export Declarations, Certificates of Analysis, Packing Declarations, Annex 8 Manufacturing Certificates, checking and endorsing Bill of Lading, confirming/producing ISPM certificates, Certificates of Conformity, checking and confirming draft CoO, EUR1, ATR and transport documents
  • Process all shipments to completion and ensure full compliance and accuracy
  • Check that final documents for export/import purposes are accurate and approve broker’s and shipper’s draft of documents
  • Issue, check accuracy, and provide a Shippers Letter of Instruction to our 4PL and Broker
  • Point of contact with Internal partners (Region, Customer Service, delivery creators, logistic team and Global Trade & Compliance (GTC) teams), and external partners (4PL, Brokers, shipping Lines and hauliers), as well as liaising and coordinating with the different stakeholders on export related matters
  • Adhere to the companies document retention policy for audit compliance
  • Proactively manage export / import requirements, amendments as well as export shipment consolidations
  • Other export related tasks: master data maintenance; reconciliation; shipment monitoring, training, identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Participation in Projects relating to or impacting the export function

The Individual

  • SAP R3 Experience required
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
  • Supply Chain / Customer Service / Logistics qualification advantageous
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Export/Import role, Customer Service Role, or similar
  • Experience and knowledge of export/import requirements such as export documentation, export/import clearance, Brokers, Shipping Line and Haulier requirements
  • Understanding of OTC processes in a manufacturing environment
  • Recognise the terms of sale and understand the impact of incoterms on regulatory compliance
  • Strong understanding of incoterms
  • Excellent IT-Skills - outlook, Microsoft Applications, Web Applications
  • Strong Communication Skills, ability to interact successfully at all levels
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with complex business scenarios
  • Detail orientated, action driven individual with demonstrated interpersonal skills - ability to resolve complex issues
