Purpose of this role is to provide customer service excellence to our branch network across New Zealand.
Responsible for servicing the export of customers’ requirements end to end, and to expedite non-stock or standard items balancing cost and quality and aligning with the expectations of sales profitability.
Responsibilities:
KEY ACTIVITIES IN THE ROLE:
- Customer export quotations. Ensuring the highest possible accuracy of data requirements to complete sales requirements with all suppliers including ad-hoc suppliers.
- Hands-on processing for customer exports including receipting and internal transfers.
- Stock management and product procurement – sourcing & pricing on stock items.
- Working closely with suppliers and service providers (freight & transport), to maintain strong relationships and effectively manage export of products including domestic product movements.
- Assist in developing and implementing best practice in processes and strategies to ensure timely provision of products for sales.
- Ensuring safe work practices are inherent in all work practices and always applies best practice safety procedures.
