SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ideally a minimum of 3 years experience working with international export
  • Previous experience in the dairy industry preferred
  • Experience using SAP systems
  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure

Responsibilities:

We are on the lookout for an experienced Export Specialist to join our team. This is a fast paced role where you will be responsible to plan and process the loading, booking and shipping schedule requirements for sea freight, air freight, road freight and courier transport. You will be responsible for product allocation, pick release, planning and issuing the daily loading plans and shipping schedule.
As the Export Specialist you will have a strong background in export as well as experience in SAP.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide support across the wider Supply Chain team in a variety of functions from demand planning, reporting continuous improvement and data manage.
  • Complete booking requirements for sea freight, air freight, road freight, couriers within timeframes and in a manner to minimize cost to the customer and company.
  • Plan and maintain the Daily Planner Plan for all outward customer order movements within capacities.
  • Plan and book inter-warehouse coastal shipments to other SML sites.
  • Process and communicate the daily shipping schedule.
