JOIN US IN OUR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TALENT POOL FOR OFFSHORE VESSEL COORDINATORS

We are looking for Offshore Vessel Coordinators to join our expression of interest talent pool to be considered for future vacancies with DOF. We offer a working environment consisting of highly educated, skilled, positive, innovative, and enthusiastic employees. Our Offshore Vessel Coordinators assist the Crewing team in the mobilisation and demobilisation process, completion of offshore reports, vessel logistics, auditing, compliance, human resource support, and project administration. The position will be available on a non-ongoing basis, and the engagement period/s will be negotiated and determined with the successful applicant, either on a fixed-term or casual basis. The work locations and working hours may vary, but the hours of work are based on full-time engagement.

SOME OF THE KEY ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR INCLUDE;

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively across cultures and with crew from various disciplinary backgrounds.
  • Working collaboratively across functions and departments for successful outcomes.
  • Considerable working experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines and overcoming constant and ever-changing logistical challenges.
  • Exceptional organisational and coordination skills; the ability to thrive under pressure and the flexibility to change work focus quickly, due to unplanned changes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ‘think on your feet’ and embrace the challenge of making the ‘impossible’ become possible.
  • Experience in a similar administration-oriented environment. Preference given to applicants who have worked offshore or in a similar site-based role.
  • BOSIET with CA-EBS, OGUK Medical. Helideck Certificates (HLO, HDI, AROC) and Dangerous Good by Air would be highly beneficial.
    There are many travel opportunities in this role to various ports in Australia as well as international locations. Successful candidates will need a valid passport with six (6) months validity.
