How your role will add to the story:
The Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) & Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for executing the program roadmap set forth between GCSP/OGNA, GCSP/ODL, and ITS/GL to launch the EWM system across the NAFTA region. This position is responsible for driving collaboration amongst stakeholders across project scrum areas and PDC stakeholders. The responsibilities include but are not limited to providing support and training for Inbound, Outbound, Location Administration and Master data. The EWM & Supply Chain Operations Manager acts as a subject matter expert on warehouse solution design and is responsible to ensure that standard processes are always updated, documented, and aligned with Canada, U.S. and Mexico local requirements. The EWM & Supply Chain Operations Manager is also responsible to establish expectations and deliverables for the designated project team members in Canada, U.S. and Mexico. This role collaborates closely with the E2E Supply Chain Technology Manager at MBUSA for functional topics.
MERCEDES-BENZ STAR SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS & TRAITS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred in: Supply Chain Management; Logistics; Business Administration; Industrial Engineering or Information Systems
- 7-10 years of experience in Integrated Supply Chain Management (ISCM), emphasizing process-oriented procurement, production, and delivery.
- Proven track record in managing quality and improving master data, with demonstrated business enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of SAP EWM or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including hands-on implementation experience.
- Expertise in warehouse operations, transportation management, and WMS software implementations.
- Advanced skills in SQL, databases, Tableau/PowerBI, and Alteryx/Extollo.
- Ability to understand and apply key financial indicators.
- Understanding of warehouse processes (receiving through shipping), external systems that may interface with the WMS, and peripheral interface devices (RF, printers, etc).
