Description:

Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the London office:

WE WILL RELY ON YOU TO:

  • Press – act as the primary contact point with the media to promote Mercer DC (the MWS and MMT products and/or DC consulting). This will involve curating and creating copy and translating propositional themes into market-facing narratives.
  • Events – devise, plan and work with the marketing team to organise our own events and attendance at industry events. This will involve promoting the DC business and ensuring that our key propositional themes/differentiators and narratives are heard. In time, and for the right candidate, we see opportunities to participate and present at these events.
  • Support relationships with third parties who assess Master Trust (MMT and MSP) providers on behalf of prospective clients – support the Head of Comms and Engagement and the Sales Team to design, prepare, and deliver a regular cadence of communications and presentations to these ‘evaluators’
  • Internal communications and PR – refine and run a programme of internal communications designed to ensure our wider colleagues have a thorough understanding of the MMT or MSP product, its features, benefits and differentiators and that this knowledge is kept up-to-date.
  • Partner communications and PR – support the DC Leadership Team, Head of Proposition and the Head of Comms and Engagement to foster two way dialogue and PR opportunities between Mercer and our partner providers (including Aviva, Scottish Widows, Moneyhub, HUB).
  • Awards coordination - drive the award submission process and follow up strategy, ensuring we maximise value from industry awards. This will involve working with those that create the submissions and with the wider Mercer Marketing team to drive PR opportunities.
  • Create and run AI content generation – a newer aspect to the role, we are looking for someone to develop our ability to use AI in the generation of content at various levels. This would include marketing content, MMT member comms, RfP responses and the development of content for various AI agents and chatbots.
  • Content creation – work with the Head of Comms and Engagement, and the wider team, to run a programme of content creation that promotes the proposition and its features to a range of audiences. This would include newsletters/campaigns, client facing materials and internal updates.
  • Ad-hoc support to the Proposition and Comms Teams – as a small team, we often need to flex our roles, turning our hand to various tasks.
  • Maximise value of MMC - work with the MMC/Mercer marketing team, MMC PR Lead and other internal MMC colleagues to leverage global insights, expertise and content to be relevant for defined UK DC audiences.
