Working Hours: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
Daily rate: Up to £105 per day

We’re thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Support Worker to join our team and contribute positively to the development of young learners with autism.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enhanced Child Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance, registered with the Update Service, or willingness to obtain.
  • NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award in Support Work
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with autism within educational or therapeutic contexts.
  • Proficiency in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and its practical application.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Display patience, empathy, and an authentic enthusiasm for supporting children with autism.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute positively to a harmonious work environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of SEN children.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to children with autism within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Cultivate a secure, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere where SEN children can enhance their social, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
  • Track and evaluate individual progress, maintaining meticulous records, and regularly updating both the class teacher and parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate closely with the EYFS team, including educators, teaching assistants, and therapists, to establish a unified and nurturing learning environment.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents/guardians, offering insight into their child’s progress, hurdles, and accomplishments.
