Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join the F/A-18 Supply Chain team in Berkeley, MO.
The successful candidate would have experience in production and/or manufacturing, with experience collaborating and building relationships with functional and cross-functional partners. Having strong business acumen and the ability to influence and shape risk mitigation strategies with the supply base.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- More than 3 years of experience leading projects or teams
- More than 3 years of experience developing and writing contract language; managing supplier relationships; and/or working with supply chain processes or systems
- Experience negotiating contracts, terms and conditions, and pricing.
- Experience with critical business and financial acumen to influence and shape strategy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience interfacing with internal and external senior leadership
- Experience with or knowledge of Earned Value Management
- Experience managing complex, large-scale logistics or supply chain management services for a global organization
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Leads the development of risk mitigation plans and problem resolution for emergent issues impacting the F/A-18 Program.
- Acts as primary Supply Chain point-of-contact for procurement and business operations on the program.
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
- Executes sourcing strategies, major supplier negotiations, and plays a significant role leading program-facing integration.
- Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, supply chain health metrics, processes and related tools.
- Responsible for reporting supplier status to the program
- Manages, develops and motivates employees from multiple Global Supply Chain & Integration disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of F/A-18, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management processes and supplier diversity
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
