Description:

We are looking for a Conference and Events Supervisor to join our dynamic, diverse, professional and fun-loving Team. The role will be focused on running events, conferences and functions, as well as supervising services in our busy pub.
Our 13th century Tithe Barn is situated by the River Great Ouse, and it is a cosy, idyllic venue for up to 150 guests.
As a C&B Supervisor your main responsibilities will be:
-To help the Assistant C&B Manager, organise and ensure the effective running of the department
- Assist the C&B manager with the team’s training.
- To run functions, events, conferences and meetings as per the function sheets.
-To ensure that all areas are clean, tidy, organised, correctly set-up and well-presented at all times, with a special focus on the Tithe Barn and conference rooms.
-To liaise with other departments and attend communication meetings (e.g. Function Sheet Meetings) to ensure all guest requirements are met.
-To assist with enquiries, conduct showrounds and promote the business.
-To generate ideas and be passionate in developing the business and taking it to the next level.
-To act as a Duty Manager (on a rota basis) to ensure the safe, effective and successful running of the hotel.
-Provide a warm, welcome and hospitable greeting for all guests.
-To be able to deal with any reasonable requests from guests in a professional manner.
-Ensure all standard checklists are implemented and used as prescribed.
-To be flexible in your approach to the business
-Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Management team.
