citizenM is looking for an energetic, genuine and passionate citizen willing to join our Food and Beverage team in the Netherlands for an exciting internship opportunity.
The selected candidate will support citizenM’s running operations by helping out in our Support Office on a range of topics. In short, the Food and Beverage Team is responsible for the strategic direction and the running of the F&B program in our hotels globally.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Available for six or more months, preferred starting date January/February 2025
- A student enrolled at a university during the entire duration of the internship
- Smart thinker with contemporary style

- Gifted at giving and receiving feedback
- Fluent in English, spoken and written. Additional language skills are well accepted
- Ambitious, motivated and eager to learn… and most importantly, you are having fun while doing it!
Responsibilities:
- You will learn all about F&B at citizenM; supporting the area F&B managers with a wide variety of projects around guest satisfaction, quality standards and trainings
- You will support work on our ePOS systems, learn how to make analysis that helps drive the business
- You will support F&B area managers with insights on performance using different PowerBi dashboards to help drive our focus and decision making process.
- Visit various hotel in Europe and help implement projects and train teams.
- Expand your communication skills by planning and supporting internal training sessions.
- Analyze and propose new ways to improve the quality of F&B in the hotels.
- Use your creative talent to help come up with new ideas for our F&B program.
- Support the planet and our ESG initiatives, helping develop creative ways to limit waste, reduce plastic and more.
