GENERAL
You will join a multidisciplinary team of professionals in a challenging but friendly environment. Hotelschool The Hague students need practical education to fully develop their hands-on approach and hospitality management skills. They gain this experience in our own facilities: at both campuses there are different restaurant concepts and a hotel where students learn and practice essential F&B and hospitality skills. For our campus in Amsterdam we are looking for a colleague for the breakfast shifts during weekends.
GENERAL FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for a high quality breakfast for our hotel guests; food and service related
- Supervising students in both the kitchen and in the breakfast restaurant
- Able to oversee the tasks & performance of the students
- Preferably experienced in coaching and willing to learn didactical skills in order to provide the students with the correct feedback on their performance,
- Besides carrying the responsibility for carrying out a smooth & high quality service, you are responsible for documenting students performance and carrying out light administrative tasks
- Working hours 6:45 to 15:00, Saturdays & Sundays
- You will be working alone in the outlet, connected with Instructors working in other outlets
- Enjoying the combination of providing a high level service to our guests with transmitting your professional knowledge and experience to our students

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Working hours 6:45 to 15:00, Saturdays & Sundays
- Please note a supplement for working during the weekend (onregelmatigheidstoeslag) is applicable in accordance with our CLA (CAO Hogescholen)We are looking for a colleague to cover our weekend shifts. Christmas holidays are mandatory off since the school is closed for 2 weeks
The starting date for this position is as soon as possible depending on possible notice period. This position is for a fixed period of 1 year, with a possibility to receive an extension of this contract. You will be located in Amsterdam but are willing to work at our Campus in The Hague on occasions.
