Responsibilities:
Our Food and Beverage Supervisors are the floor managers of our various food & beverage outlets at Spirit Ridge. With our signature restaurant “The Bear, The Fish, The Root & The Berry” as well as the Market, Footprints Beach Bar, two pool bars and a busy banquet operation, there is no shortage of learning and guests to keep well fed. Food and Beverage is a key factor to a great resort experience and in this role you would be at the core of making that happen. Your watchful eye, talents and experience will be utilized to complete the following tasks:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Demonstrate professional and positive image to guests and colleagues at all times, including maintaining a high standard of professional appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Use your experience and attentive nature to assist the Food and Beverage Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations to elevate the guest experience and ensure associate safety.
- Ensure overall restaurant cleanliness and set up.
- Ensure processes are followed to ensure customer satisfaction and integrity
- Oversee servers in the restaurants and banquet area to ensure optimal appearance and exceptional guest care, watchful of guests’ need for service.
- Help the manager establish and monitor side work.
- Ensure receipt and accurate flow of communications between shifts.
- Be aware of what happened during the prior shift and clearly convey happenings for the next.
- Keep a pulse on and manage staffing needs.
- Be trained as a Banquet Captain to help supervise banquet functions in addition to your assigned dining outlet
- Perform duties such as Cashier, Bartender, Host when called upon.
- Following all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties as assigned as the resort environment is always full of exciting special events
