Description:

Nanushka is looking for a talented Fabric and Trim Development Assistant to join our team in our Budapest HQ.
This is an exciting time in the growth of the brand: we have recently opened flagship stores in New York and London; and have become a member of Vanguards, a fashion group and investment platform for emerging and sustainable luxury brands. We’re Budapest-based with a global outlook, with teams in London, New York, and Milan. The role of Fabric and Trim Development Assistant, then, is an exceptional opportunity to be part of an important time in Nanushka’s story.

OTHER SKILLS:

  • Work closely with PD, Production, and Design team to make sure all teams are aligned
  • Work with Raw Material Manager to launch specific research, create seasonal development folders, process orders
  • Computer literate. Office, Adobe, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure, lateral thinking and problem-solving
  • Team player with the ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines, time management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Hungarian and English are essential, any other language is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a functioning fabric and trim library by
  • Keep track of the sampling orders arriving at HQ making sure the tracker is always up to date with AWB.
  • Follow up incoming posts ensuring the custom clearance process runs quickly and smoothly.
  • Help and support the Fabric Developer during the research process by contacting suppliers and requesting swatches, prices, TDS, etc.
