Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION :-
We are seeking a skilled Data Architect/Engineer (Fabric) who can enhance our platform using modern technologies while ensuring reliable and high-performance operations. Your daily routine will include participating in standup meetings, managing work items based on your capacity, collaborating with the team’s Program Managers to engage in development activities. In addition to traditional Data Engineering tasks, you will directly interact with the client on architecting the whole solution, defining best practices and guidelines. This specific role is primarily for migration of existing Oracle & Qlikview reports to Fabric platform.
REQUIRED/MINIMUM SKILLSET
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data integration, automation, analytics, and related Microsoft technologies (e.g., Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory).
- Architecture and Design: Experience designing scalable and efficient data architectures, with a strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Working experience on Azure data factory or synapse, ADLS, SQL, Azure databricks, Event Hub
- Experience using a work management tool such as Azure DevOps
- Programming language such as Pyspark, DAX, MDX, SQL, Python
- Extensive knowledge of IAM, setting up platform, understanding of how data transfer between Fabric services will work.
- Identity & access management, roles, groups, policies.
- Conceptual knowledge of Azure, AWS cloud architecture or any Cloud SaaS experience
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Project Leadership: Experience leading technical teams and managing the delivery of complex data projects from conception to completion.
- Client Engagement: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated to interact with clients at all levels and provide strategic insights.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, performance, and scalability.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry best practices in data governance, security, and compliance, particularly in cloud-based data solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 Fabric & Azure data factory implementation required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering , or related field AND 2+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering work.
- OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business analytics, data science, software development, or data engineering work.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ years experience as a Data Engineer manipulating and transforming data in Spark SQL, PySpark, or Spark Scala.
- OR 1+ years experience manipulating and transforming data in T-SQL.
1+ years experience translating business requirements to technical requirements
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
