We are a startup based in Munich developing construction robot.
We are seeking a part-time/ full-time, skilled and motivated Workshop Technician/ fabricator to join our team. As a Workshop Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production and assembly of metal components and structures, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Tasks
1. Perform metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, drilling, grinding, and shaping metal profiles, materials according to engineering drawings and specifications.
2. Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, such as milling machines, saws, drills, and grinders.
3. Assemble and fit metal components to create finished products or structures, ensuring accuracy and precision.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to review technical drawings and blueprints, and suggest improvements when necessary.
5. Inspect finished products for quality and identify any defects or discrepancies; implement corrective measures as required.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and adhere to best practices in metal fabrication.
7. Keep the workshop area clean, organized, and well-maintained, and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Workshop Technician or in a similar metal fabrication role.
2. Proficient in metal cutting, grilling, and shaping techniques.
3. Familiarity with reading technical drawings and blueprints.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
5. Knowledge of metalworking machinery and tools.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a startup environment.
7. Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety protocols.
8. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. German language (B1) is a plus but not required. Fluent in English is a must.
9. Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy metal materials and equipment.
