Staff365 are recruiting for a Fabrication Supervisor on a permanent basis for our client located in Rotherham.
Salary: £35,000 – £37,000
Hours of work : 08:00-16:00 Monday – Friday
Responsibilities;
You will work closely with Shift Managers to ensure that all products are manufactured to the highest quality in the most economical and safe manner to meet tight delivery deadlines.
Lead, manage, and supervise the welding / fabrication department, including fabricators, welders, and general labourers.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
Monitor workflow and productivity to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Monitor and address issues around performance, attendance, punctuality, grievances and discipline in line with company procedures.
To identify any cost-effective measures for improving production.
Experience required;
Skilled in welding techniques such as MIG & TIG.
Minimum of three years’ experience as a Fabrication Welder.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings to check goods are manufactured correctly.
A strong people manager used to managing your own workload and that of your team.
Experienced in the production of bespoke, tailor made products to meet customers’ needs.
Knowledge of raw materials used.
