Description:
FABRICATOR WELDER
Location:Auckland, NZ, 0624
Onsite or Hybrid: OnSite
Babcock is looking for a Fabricator Welder to join the Boilershop team based in Devonport, Auckland.
KEY REQUIRED SKILLS
- Heavy fabrication of materials like steel, aluminium, and copper nickel.
- Proficient in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding for ferrous/non-ferrous materials.
- Skilled in using CNC profile cutters, hydraulic presses, and guillotines.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and mock-up techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, technical environment.
KEY REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Trade Certificate (Level 4) in Fabrication is essential
- 5+ years of experience in marine or industrial heavy fabrication.
