The Façade Engineer role
We are looking for an experienced Façade Package manager for an immediate start to deliver a large Industrial Building for our secured project in Bridgwater, Somerset. The individuals will be managing the complete façade package through early detailed design , Performance testing , Manufacture, site pre-planning, coordination, interfaces, site delivery and handover. We require an experienced individual to lead a small façade team. The project is a large scale Industrial Building which comprises of several buildings, each containing different cladding, roofing and glazing types where coordination with the Clients team, other team members and the supply chain needs to be at a high level for all stages – design through to installation completion.
This individual would be responsible for leading regular design meetings and coordinating the design team and other key stakeholders, checking drawings and managing the submittal/approval process, keeping records, coordinating interfaces with other trades, interfaces, undertaking compliance checks throughout the manufacture period, witnessing the performance testing (if needed), helping to plan and coordinate the logistical and installation strategy, planning installation works on site, safety on site, quality on site, delivery of the project up to Practical Completion.
