Responsibilities:
Alba Thermal Springs & Spa is an award winning, world class wellness sanctuary located in Fingal, on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula.
As part of the Leadership Team reporting directly to the General Manger, the Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for the management of the Maintenance and Engineering function of the property, whilst ensuring the safety and comfort of guests during their stay and staff working conditions.
The ideal candidate will support the Maintenance Team with daily maintenance requests while efficiently managing operational and property-related tasks. You will be juggling multiple priorities and tasks including, but not limited to:
- Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance throughout the property to identify and resolve issues ensuring the standards are maintained for guest comfort.
- Respond promptly and prioritize maintenance requests to ensure the smooth running of all property departments and analyze root causes of issues and implement solutions.
- Oversee the management of contractors and service providers across the property, controlling expenditure and ensuring work is to the standard required by the company and manufacturer specifications, liaising with the General Manager as required.
- Manage the preparation of hydraulic analyses, plans and reports in support of capital improvement plan and operations and maintenance projects.
- Allocate workload and supervise staff ensuring staff adhere to the safety policies and procedures of the property.
- Oversee and monitor the Water Technicians across the property ensuring compliance to all water and pool related activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
