Description:
The Facilities Assistant/Receptionist will be the main point of contact for workplace experience and office services in the Cambridge office. The Facilities Assistant/Receptionist will support the daily operations of the office to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment. This role will involve tasks such as providing front-of-house receptionist support, organizing office supplies, planning social events and team meetings, coordinating maintenance services, and supporting staff with administrative needs.

Responsibilities:
As the Facilities Assistant/Receptionist, your responsibilities will include providing front-house reception support in Cambridge. You will greet and assist all individuals entering the facility, ensuring a friendly and welcoming experience. Issuing visitor passes and strictly adhering to security protocols will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will assist in managing inventory and placing orders for office and breakroom supplies for the assigned location. Furthermore, you will support on-site events by liaising with multiple teams, organizing the setup and teardown of rooms, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies. Providing assistance to colleagues and suppliers to ensure the smooth operation of location-specific processes will also be a part of your responsibilities. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of community spaces, including shared workstations, collaboration areas, and meeting rooms. Another duty will be to receive and distribute mail according to location-specific protocols, receive, route, and ensure resolution of various service requests and issues from colleagues, contractors, and suppliers using internal management systems. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
