As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Facilities Cleaning Operative join our Facilities Team on a permanent basis.
Supporting our Facilities Team Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that a high standard of cleaning and waste management is maintained in-line with our Food Safety Standards across our offices, warehouse and meeting rooms. You will play an important part in the team by promoting best practice across the site and creating a collaborative and safe environment for all employees.
Salary: £12.30 per hour
Shift Pattern: This role will operate on rotating hours dependent on business needs through our peak periods.
During peak (Sept to Dec): 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday
Off-Peak (Jan to Aug): 12pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday
High-vis and safety shoes (PPE) will be provided.

The on-site location for this role is at our Distribution Centre ‘Beta’, in Harpole, Northampton. We opened the doors to our impressive Distribution Centre – all 429,107 square feet of it - in October 2022.
You will find us just off Junction 16 of the M1.

What you’ll be doing….

• Site cleaning to include offices, meeting rooms and our warehouse.
• Complete training specific to your duties consisting of:
• Health and Safety – COSHH, manual handling, food safety cleaning standards, personal hygiene
• Equipment - floor scrubbers, MHE (*subject to site requirements)
• Core skills – cleaning schedules, glass and spillages, time management
• Assist with site wide periodic cleaning
• Follow a cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are always covered and maintained to a high standard
• Complete the required paperwork in-line with your duties
• Assist across the Fulfilment operation creating a collaborative environment and team work ethic
• Promote best practice and implement a fun and safe environment for employees, making suggestions for improving service and facilities
