About the Role
This role has varying responsibilities, and you will be working with the Facilities team to provide excellent customer service to all our internal and external customers, as well as looking to optimize the physical aspects of Avant’s premises to ensure a safe, comfortable, functional, and inspiring workspace for all staff, visitors, members, and contractors.
This role is tasked with providing Reception/Concierge coverage, and Facilities administration duties to ensure all aspects of the office run smoothly.
Due to the client facing nature of this role, it is required you always wear business attire.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and efficient Customer Service to all stakeholders through timely written and verbal communication in response to facilities requests and queries.
  • Co-ordinate the provision of planned and reactive maintenance services including but not limited to air conditioning, security, lighting, power, plumbing and other facilities management services.
  • Asset management and WH&S focus for Facilities operational infrastructure
  • Ensure contractors are compliant with WH&S requirements/ Public Liability
  • First Response oversight for providing training of Premises related Fire Wardens
  • Positively promote facilities management related activities and ensure activities are undertaken in line with policy.
  • Ongoing review, accurate workflow documentation of processes with goal of best practice and continuous improvement
