Facilities, Health & Safety Manager

We are recruiting for a full-time Facilities, Health & Safety Manager in Bridgnorth. The ideal candidate will have extensive prior experience in maintaining and developing an Occupational Health and Safety policy, ideally within a manufacturing or automotive environment and proven skills in maintaining workplace facilities.
The role of Facilities, Health & Safety Manager:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALITIES, AND EXPERIENCE OF THE FACILITIES, HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER:

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Able to work under pressure / make decisions / solve problems as they arise.
• Adaptability.
• Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships.

FACILITIES, HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER DESIRABLE SKILLS, QUALITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) (or similar) accreditation.
• Diploma / degree (or equivalent) in occupational health and safety or environmental health.
• An understanding of finance and being able to manage a budget.
• Experience of working in a Continuous Improvement culture and using Lean tools & techniques [highly desirable].
