DESCRIPTION
The Facilities Lead ensures the offices/stores have the required specifications and services to meet the needs of the workforce through 3rd party management whilst being aligned to the Property strategy. And ensures the requirements of the business are pro-actively met to ensure maximum efficiency within the business.Typically reports to Senior Facilities Manager/Senior Property Manager, may also report to the Facilities Manager.
- Shapes decision making with regards to facilities management, to include shaping relevant policies and processes which drive business and cost efficiencies;
- Drives the planning, coordination and delivery of facilities activities (e.g. physical security, construction projects and car fleet);
- Manages third party providers / contracts (e.g. personnel and property security, Catering, groundskeepers and office/post room management);
- Ensures the proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance;
- Ensures implementation of all Health and Safety standards;
- Maintains the Vodafone environmental, office and retail standards with cost optimization;
- Uses advanced analytical thought for optimal utilization to improve facility effectiveness;
- Works effectively with stakeholders, including finance, to create business cases, financial planning and modelling for the facilities function;
- May mentor more junior members of the team.
