JOB SUMMARY

At Asmodee UK, we are passionate about delivering great games and amazing stories to our customers. We are now seeking a motivated Facilities and Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities and Engineering team in our brand new office and warehouse in Bordon, Hampshire.
You will play an essential part in ensuring all building, equipment, technical and maintenance requirements are managed, either directly or by suppliers. This role has a technical/engineering and administrative focus.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a highly practical, reliable and organised individual who is an effective communicator with the ability to balance conflicting priorities with a pragmatic approach to problem solving. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a mechanical or electrical based role with the desire to further develop their engineering skills. They will have the ability to problem solve under pressure to minimise disruption of the operation. The role would suit someone who has an inquisitive mind with the ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities:

This role supports the Facilities and Engineering Manager to ensure all Asmodee building, and equipment technical and maintenance requirements are managed, either directly or by suppliers, with particular focus on warehouse hardware and systems. Ensuring that the systems and equipment under the responsibility of the Facilities and Engineering Department are sustained at the highest levels of operational capability.
You will work with the Facilities and Engineering Manager to ensure that the warehouse automated systems uptime is maximised by overseeing and assisting with planned maintenance, diagnostics and resolution of functional issues including repairs. Manage supplier technical support with a clear drive to determine root causes and implement preventative solutions.
This role has technical/engineering as well as administrative requirements requiring the development of a full understanding of all aspects of the warehouse systems. This includes hardware and software functionality, control systems (Scada and CMMS) and, building management, HVAC systems, sprinkler/fire and alarm/access control, lighting and other mechanical/ electrical/MHE systems.
This role is to actively engage with operations to assist with systems training for operatives and supervisors, and to drive process management and improvement. Key to our success is to optimise employee understanding of all warehouse processes and the use of system performance measures.
This role will also encompass some general facilities tasks and external contractors’ coordination responsibilities especially relating to the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment (but not IT hardware).
