Facilities: Maintenance Worker

JOB PURPOSE

Offering flexible working within a friendly team, The Haven Wolverhampton are recruiting for a Maintenance Worker to carry out both planned and reactive repairs and maintenance, for 11 properties across the Wolverhampton area.
Reporting to and working closely with the Facilities Lead, you will actively manage and oversee repairs across The Haven’s property portfolio. You will be multi-skilled, able to complete a range of repairs, from minor to skilled.
Working with the Facilities Team, you will endeavour to make repairs without the need for qualified contractors, where possible. You will also ensure work is completed in adherence to Health and Safety procedures, and with minimal disruption to staff and service users.
Whilst the team works autonomously in a fast-paced environment, you will liaise and be able to communicate with other departments.
