  • Contract Type - Permanent
  • Location - The role can be based at either our Bracknell or London campus based on your preference. Please be aware that the role requires significant travel to our branches.
  • Working Pattern - We know flexible working is important to you, and it is important to us too. The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach meaning you’ll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. Typically the team currently spends 1 day in the office per week and approximately 2 days visiting branches.
  • Salary range - The salary range for this role is set at £43,700 - £65,500 per annum

ESSENTIAL SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

  • Experience of Facilities Management delivery - implementing and managing maintenance systems
  • Proven history of quality maintenance services
  • Experience with outsourced service providers
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • RICS or IWFM membership
  • Safety qualifications (NEBOSH)
  • Understanding of service contracts

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are excited to be recruiting this role within our Facilities Management (FM) Team reporting into the Senior Contract Manager. In this position you will work closely with our Waitrose FM Service Delivery Leads to ensure that our Waitrose Retail buildings are safe, legal, and operate smoothly without interruptions. Collaborating with the branches you will align Facilities Management Services (Hard and Soft Services) with annual objectives to meet financial, safety, and sustainability targets.
By aligning yourself to a Line of Business you will be focusing on Waitrose to ensure excellent and consistent customer service. At times you may be asked to support John Lewis Retail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversight of the third party re: delivery of the planned and reactive maintenance work for your areas of responsibility
  • Ensure all compliance, safety and assurance and insurance requirements are delivered in a timely manner to keep the partnership legally compliant and trading without risk or impact
  • Budgetary management of the revenue and capital spend for your area of responsibility
  • Oversee the resolution of service escalations
  • Accountability for key metrics and measures to track business benefit in support of the overarching strategy.
  • Identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost saving and innovation.
