Responsibilities:
Job Purpose
- Establish, lead and manage the planned preventative maintenance activities within Gibela within the Facilities scope viz. Site infrastructure incorporating Buildings, Site ancillary equipment, Supply Chain plant equipment, Site services.
- Project management – future developments, construction works and facility improvements, environmental & energy-related projects.
- Management and coordination of FM Service Provider technical team, Sub-contractors and Suppliers.
- Facilities Management lead in ideating & advising on technical solutions/proposals.
- Build a solid relation with internal customers / stakeholders, OEM Suppliers and external Service Providers
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day Facility Management of Dunnottar site, ensuring that activities are delivered within the required time, budget and quality constraints.
- Ensure the optimum functioning of facilities equipment, infrastructure and allied plant.
- Manage contractors and vendors relationships. Manage service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met and services delivered in a timeous manner.
- Participate in the assessment and selection of suppliers and OEM’s for facility management, maintenance, new business awards and project management.
- Ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as laid down by Legislation, OEM instructions, OHS Act and AZDP.
- Ensure adherence to relevant Company procedures, policies and governance.
- Provide engineering expertise (from a consultant basis) as and when required to problem solve and mitigate work stoppages and production delays.
- Coordinate, design, engineer and implement effective project management as and when required.
- Plan and effectively organise the Facilities & Infrastructure-related planned maintenance activities..
- Ensure adequate resources are available on site and timely manage any unforeseen delays.
- Oversee the implementation of the CMMS program for the Facilities & Infrastructure.
- Ensure efficient recording on and analysis from the CMMS.
- Supervise and support FM Team in achieving deliverables.
