Responsibilities:

Reporting to the new role of Head of Facilities Management, your responsibilities would primarily include:

  • Manage site operations, including scheduled and ad-hoc work;
  • Act as the primary contact for technical and maintenance advice;
  • Management of all work orders and working with the Facilities Management Planner to ensure open work orders are closed out within agreed service levels;
  • Coordinate general maintenance requests, repairs, and site inspections;
  • Review contractor safety documentation and manage the permit to work system; and
  • Ensure safety measures and systems in place are in accordance with legislation, policy, and compliance

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Demonstrated Facilities Management expertise or relevant experience;
  • Proven ability to supervise building maintenance, manage contractors and handle contract administration;
  • Strong communication skills and efficient management of projects/scheduled work within timeframes and budget; and
  • Capability to work to set deadlines, prioritise tasks appropriately, and maintain accurate records and work requests
