Description:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

· Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role
· Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and health and safety regulations
· Excellent organisational, time management, and leadership skills
· Proficiency in using facilities management software and MS Office Suite
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues effectively

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

· Relevant qualifications in facilities management, engineering, or a related field (e.g., BIFM, IWFM certification) are highly desirable
· Willing to work out of hours when required to ensure the continued operation of the site
· Health & Safety certifications (e.g, NEBOSH)
· First Aid and Fire Safety certifications

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and ensure the efficient management of our office and manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing building operations, maintenance, health and safety compliance, and site security, while delivering cost-effective solutions and excellent customer service.

WHAT YOU’LL BEING DOING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

· Oversee day-to-day operations of the building(s), ensuring all facilities are safe, secure, functional and well-maintained
· Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
· Supervise and co-ordinate staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure optimal service delivery
· Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, fire safety standards, security regulations, and environmental policies
· Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs, repairs, and refurbishments
· Manage contracts and service agreements, negotiating cost-effective solutions and maintaining vendor relationships
· Implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
· Handle staff complaints or facility related requests in a professional and timely manner
· Provide strategic input into long-term facility planning and improvements
