Description:
THIS IS A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT, COVERING THE NORTH OF UK AND SCOTLAND.
Stonegate Group is the UK’s largest pub group. We’re looking for a Facilities Manager to join the team looking after our sites in the North of England and Scotland. This is a pivotal role in our organisation ensuring we have a safe, legal and fully operational estate. The Facilities Manager will ensure delivery of our pro-active and reactive facilities activity for their property portfolio and drive continual improvements at all property lifecycle stages.
As Facilities Manager you will take the lead role across your specific geographic region for directly managing the FM supply chain, including during trials and innovations to deliver safe, legal and quality service. You’ll ensure that our critical assets, design and build standards and specifications are adhered to as well as being compliant with all applicable legislation and any Stonegate specific requirements. You’ll use monitored contractual performance targets and service levels to manage the FM supply chain and manage high profile business interruption projects with a focus on being able to trade safely and legally.
Working closely with the Helpdesk, Operations and Finance teams, you’ll ensure the repairs and maintenance costs are accurate and to budget and provide early detailed summary of reasons for spend.
Ideally, you’ll have the following experience:
- Relevant experience working in a commercially focused fast paced environment – ideally in a Retail, Food and Beverage, Leisure industry.
- Experience of or within a challenging, complex stakeholder landscape
- Degree or equivalent experience in FM or relatable discipline i.e. BSc, MSc Engineering
- Industry recognition of competence with membership or a Chartership of a relevant professional body i.e. BIFM, IWFM etc.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of demonstrating commercial benefits through risk-based decision making in relation to FM
- Excellent leadership, relationship management, planning, presentation and influencing skills
- Extensive experience and understanding of incident management in relation to business interruption of sites
- Competent working knowledge of the UK regulatory and policy framework for building safety and compliance
- Ability to manage the conflicting expectations and priorities of diverse stakeholder groups over short, medium and long term.
- Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgement and assertiveness.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data quickly and accurately
- Strong IT aptitude shown through use of standard products
