Description:

Pareto is looking to employ an experienced Facilities Manager to manage one of our key accounts. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional experience in people management, process implementation and ownership of day-to-day operations. We are looking for an exceptional communicator that will be able to manage an integrated service team and multiple stakeholders, whilst always maintaining the highest levels of service. We need someone that is ambitious, self-driven, professional and the hardest worker in the room. This is a site based role in Swindon.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of day-to-day operations.
  • Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of hard services, soft services and in-house events.
  • Development & coordination of an onsite team of four in the above areas.
  • Weekly operational briefings with the client representatives to explain the operational challenges and opportunities across the site.
  • Completion of quarterly management reports that cover all services across the site.
  • Reviewing & leading implementation of standard operating procedures for all base functions, PPM’s, and reactive works that are required.
  • Completion of all compliance related tasks for the in-house team, including onboarding new hires, overtime approvals, holiday approvals, employee appraisals, team development, salary reviews and disciplinary procedures for direct reports.
  • Ensuring that all deliverable services are covered in the event of team sickness or emergency.
  • Manage sub-contractors effectively, ensuring they are operating in line with client specifications and delivering value for money.
  • Responsible for overall delivery of all statutory requirements for the site.
  • Ownership of small and medium sized projects for clients.
  • Supporting the client with their relationship with the building management team.
  • Supporting the Health & Safety Manager in developing and delivering a robust health & safety management system, both for the client and for the internal team.
