Salary: $85,925.08 to $94,151.91 + 11.5% superannuation

Responsibilities:

Liverpool City Council is looking for a Facilities Officer, where you will play a vital role in mitigating risks, fostering vendor relationships, and maximising value for the organisation. The right candidate will be a positive, customer focused, can do, switched on, committed, hardworking professional with day-to-day asset management experience and have great communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
The Facilities Officer role is responsible for developing, renewing and managing preventative and programmed maintenance, day-to-day reactive maintenance, plant registration, risk assessments, minor capital works, all aspects of car park operations and compliance with Council’s policies and procedures.

The role is pivotal in ensuring contractor performance and contract compliance through but not limited to:

  • Develop, renew and manage preventative and programmed maintenance system.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of Council’s multi-storey/at grade car parks with a sound understanding of various car park management systems/parking meters.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and understanding of expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding day-to-day maintenance.
  • Project manage minor capital projects.
  • Ensure compliance works (AFFS, lifts, air-conditioning, plant registration) are scheduled, completed and documented.
