Responsibilities:
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Facilities Operations Coordinator on a permanent, full-time basis. The Facilities Operations Coordinator coordinates and facilitates administrative support and operational logistics for facilities related activities and initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Play a key role in assisting with the daily operations of academic and university accommodation facilities to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Proactively monitor building systems within Property Services, ensuring optimal facility operation, including temperature regulation and quick resolution of non-critical alerts.
- Promptly and accurately handle purchase orders in response to requests from Mata Awhinuku - Facilities Managers, ensuring efficient and timely processing.
- Assist Mata Awhinuku - Facilities Managers in obtaining competitive quotes to secure efficient procurement and cost-effective solutions that align with operational and budgetary requirements.
- Assist Mata Awhinuku - Facilities Managers by coordinating the necessary permits for maintenance activities and events.
- Efficiently manage both physical and electronic documentation systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and easy access for audits, inspections, and legal requirements.
