Join our Auburn/Frederickson Facilities Project Management/Construction Management team within Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) as a Facilities Project Management Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior). This position will lead critical site construction related projects.
You will provide project leadership to a diverse team of internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver critical construction and equipment installation projects. This role is the opportunity to support a wide array of business partners. Our team includes high performing professionals delivering project execution from design through construction.
Position Responsibilities:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience in project management or construction management
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project
- 5+ years of experience managing projects and applying standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Gantt charts, MS PowerPoint, status charts, resource load charts)
Desired Qualifications (Preferred Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (architecture, project management, construction management, engineering/technical related fields preferred)
- 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Project leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment supporting facilities and/or building infrastructure
- Experience using AutoCAD and Procore
- Experience monitoring & coordinating implementation activities such as relocations, construction, utility budget management, schedule, and project reviews
TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Mid-Level (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Senior (Level 4):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.)
