Responsibilities:
As a member of the Facilities team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the historic Lang Pioneer Village site and museum. With over 25,000 visitors a year, it’s important to maintain clean and safe facilities. Your role will encompass various duties to provide you with a comprehensive experience in facility management and site upkeep.
- Ground Maintenance: You will complete duties such as lawn cutting, weed whacking, landscaping, and minor repairs to buildings and equipment.
- Sanitation and Cleaning: You’ll be involved in keeping our village and facilities clean by assisting with cleaning, and collecting and disposing of garbage and recycling.
- Livestock Care: You assist daily with feeding the livestock, and cleaning, maintaining and repairing their enclosures.
In accordance with County Policy, a Vulnerable Sector Check that is acceptable to the County will be required as a condition of employment.
