Job Title: Facilities Supervisor
Based: Naas Depot
Reporting to: Facilities Manager
Purpose: To supervise the cleaning and shunting programme, ensuring that a high-quality examination and cleaning of the fleet and premises is always maintained to achieve operational requirements.

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Scheduling and coordinating staff, performing high standard services to ensure all areas and equipment are clean, maintain facilities and complete any repairs as required
- Communicating and cooperating with other departments (including but not limited to Engineering and Operations)
- Document completion of duties by completing forms, reports, logs, and electronic records
- Control cleaning material stores to an acceptable level, ensuring rotation and safety in storage
- Report immediately any incidents of accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage, or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate
- Supervise cleaning, fuelling and shunting
- Undertake a thorough and detailed examination of the fleet in accordance with legal and company standards
- Record all cleaning records and defects found in a clear and concise manner
- Clearly instruct, guide, train and support the cleaning and shunting team to ensure cleaning is up to a standard that exceeds legal standards
- Manage the vehicle cleaning programme, ensuring that no vehicle exceeds its cleaning intervals.
- Communicate effectively with operational staff and other engineering colleagues
- Carry out any other reasonable instructions given by the Facilities Manager or other management staff
- Be prepared to work the hours necessary to complete tasks required to achieve Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR)
KEY SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To act in a manner as to ensure the health, safety, welfare, environment and fire safety of yourself and others in the organisation as well as any clients and visitors.
Ensure that you and any guests to any company premises understand emergency and evacuation arrangements.
Ensure your working environment is maintained in a safe and tidy condition. To act proactively in identifying and any unsafe practices or safety risks in the organisation and reporting these through the appropriate channels.
Ensure adherence to all relevant company and Go-Ahead group company policies and procedures.
Responsibility in managing, participating, and complying with the Integrated Management System (IMS).
