Description:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong understanding of building systems, engineering maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Current possession of electrical 18th edition of the IET Wiring Regulations would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communicator who will proactively build relationships with internal/external business units and contractors
  • Currently hold IOSH Managing Safely or be prepared to carry out the course if successful
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Understand and work with current Facility IT systems (SAP,SHIRE,Verature)
  • Achieving success through Continuous Improvement
  • Effective Communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Computer literate and proficient in all Microsoft packages

Responsibilities:

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Support Engineer to join our great team based in Prestwick.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all machinery and equipment TPM to drive maximum uptime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Assist in the Co-ordination and management of all contractors during unplanned and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) ensuring full EH&S and Security compliance.
  • Assist and support in all audits that require TPM compliance or any input of the Facilities function.
  • Support and drive all sustainability initiatives within the facility.
  • Input and monitor the Facility fault reporting system (SHIRE) closing out and updating on all reported faults.
  • Proactively support and participate on the implementation of new facility projects.
  • Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all Collins Aerospace policies and procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and ITC requirements.
