Description:
Reporting to our Facilities Help Desk Manager, this is 1 of 3 posts providing service cover from 0600 hours – 2000 hours, 7 days week on a rota basis.
These posts support the day-to-day management of c70 WTE Facilities Staff and are key posts which are vital to supporting patient flow, maintaining the Trusts Cleaning and Infection Control Policies and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels within our organisation, with patients and external suppliers
- Participate in meetings as required e.g. weekly team meetings, monthly team meetings and weekly operational management team briefings as required
- Assist the Workplace Division by providing an effective cascade of information to all Facilities Services staff
- Maintain good handover processes to supervisor colleagues as part of the working rota
- Support the implementation of our Trust’s complaints policy, overseeing complaints and compliments relating to the service and participating in
investigations as required
- Respond positively to external inspections, such as unannounced CQC or Environmental Health attendance, recognising when to escalate issues to line managers
