Cavendish Farms is looking for a Facilities Support Technician for New Annan, PE.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Technician will be a self-starter with a strong workethic, “Can Do” attitude and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Hourly Wage: $26.59/hr

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrate a solid track record of experience in maintenance work and a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of plumbing basics, enabling the successful repair and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Exhibit strong carpentry skills to effectively tackle a variety of projects, minor repairs.
• Display proficiency in the use of hand tools, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
• Have a keen eye for detail, ensuring thoroughness and precision in all maintenance activities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
• Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
• Must attain an acceptable level in all appropriate aptitude evaluations:

• Execute a wide range of general maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of plant.
• Utilize fundamental plumbing knowledge to conduct repairs, installations, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Utilize carpentry expertise to handle diverse projects, including construction, repairs, and renovations.
• Showcase proficiency with a variety of hand tools for efficient and precise completion of maintenance activities.
