We are looking for an experienced Facilities Technician to look over a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
- Must be physically fit as this can be a demanding role.
- Electrical Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Plumbing Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Formal training / certification in any of the above.
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience.
- Basic computer knowledge essential.
- Proven track record in Preventative and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment

Responsibilities:
- The candidate will undertake repair, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance works while ensuring all works are carried out to ETCI regulations.
- Using and maintaining machines and tools.
- Assembling components so they are ready for installation.
- Reading and interpreting project plans.
- Coordinating with the labour crew for efficient installations.
- Performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the project.
- Carrying out planned maintenance checks.
- Responding to emergency calls.
- Conserving resources wherever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
- Carry out PPMs on equipment as required.
- Assist in the installation of new plant and equipment
- To carry out fault resolution and repairs to broken down equipment.
- Ensure compliance at all times with Health and Safety and legislative requirements
- Report of any accident, incidents and out of place findings to the line manager
