We are looking for an experienced Facilities Technician to look over a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
  • Must be physically fit as this can be a demanding role.
  • Electrical Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Plumbing Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Formal training / certification in any of the above.
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge essential.
  • Proven track record in Preventative and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will undertake repair, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance works while ensuring all works are carried out to ETCI regulations.
  • Using and maintaining machines and tools.
  • Assembling components so they are ready for installation.
  • Reading and interpreting project plans.
  • Coordinating with the labour crew for efficient installations.
  • Performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the project.
  • Carrying out planned maintenance checks.
  • Responding to emergency calls.
  • Conserving resources wherever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Carry out PPMs on equipment as required.
  • Assist in the installation of new plant and equipment
  • To carry out fault resolution and repairs to broken down equipment.
  • Ensure compliance at all times with Health and Safety and legislative requirements
  • Report of any accident, incidents and out of place findings to the line manager
