WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Do you have?
- Served a recognised electrical / mechanical apprenticeship
- 18th edition qualified “minimum requirement” (Desirable)
- Sound knowledge of The Electricity at Work Regulations, HASAWA & PUWER
- Electrical/Mechanical site related work within a maintenance-based role
- Past/current career experience within a PLC environment would be preferred
- Management experience of external contractors and supervising contractors
- A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the MFC (Material Flow Control) plant and building are maintained efficiently and effectively, giving speedy resolution of downtime
- Implement and monitor all aspects of electrical and mechanical work on site
- Oversee any contract work and to issue work permits to all contractors working on site
- To ensure all relevant compliances with current legislation
- Manage routine maintenance schedules where specified are adhered to, covering MFC and services equipment
- Ensure Safe Working Procedures (SWP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are in place and adhered to
- To have due regard for HASAWA, PUWER and Electricity at Work Regulations and to recommend remedial actions as necessary in these areas
- Adding accurate data into the Hexagon EAM database in a timely fashion
- Treat all information as confidential to the organisation
- Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the Facilities and Site Services Team Lead/Operational Manager
